- Lt. Col. (U.S. Army, ret.) Christopher Hatley is a graduate of West Point, the Command and General Staff College and the Air Warfare Center. A twenty-seven-year veteran of the United States Army, he taught military decision-making processes to officers and enlisted personnel at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and the Air Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. A former candidate for office in the Texas State House of Representatives, Lt. Col. Hatley is an advocate for border policy reform and conservative politics and plans to run for office again.
Your book was interesting, I wonder if you would have written this a few years earlier had you lived in the lower geographical regions of Texas, Brownsville, for instance? It is a reality that existed long before it came to your backyard This is nothing new. We have lived with it for 40 years. The Hispanics have taken back their beloved Tejas and we all sat back and closed our eyes. Is this your passion or is it merely a vehicle to further your own personal political aspirations?
